'Will you keep kwayet!' - Twitter users caution young lady who criticized BankyW & Adesua for disregarding Edo wedding traditions

There is a little controversy on Nigerian twitter today after an Edo lady criticized new couple; Adesua Etomi and BankyW for disregarding the bride's traditions at their lavish wedding in Lagos. This wedding between two consenting adults and their happy family apparently ticked off this particular twitter user, who felt it would have been proper to do the ceremony in the bride's father's compound in his state. Nigerians were not having this and replied. Police declares Burna Boy 'wanted' for Mr 2kay's robbery as suspects confess they were paid by the music star.

Today at a press briefing, the Lagos State Police commisioner, Edgal Imohimi declared Burna Boy wanted and publicly called on him to report to the Police Station for questioning in connection with the robbery attack of fellow singer, Mr 2kay at Eko Hotel. According to the Police commisioner,  '4 armed robbers carried out the attack and detectives were able to arrest one of their girlfriends who is identidied as 'Matejero' which led to the capture of the others. During interogation, the robbers confessed that they were hired by Burna Boy through his manager, Joel Kantiock who was arrested in Zaria, Kaduna State'. The CP went on to say that  'they confessed to receiving a part payment of 50,000 naira before the job and another 50,000 was paid to the robbers directly by Burna Boy when the job was done. At the moment, efforts to apprehend Burna Boy is proving futile but we count on him to make himself available for questioning immediately'.

A rapper named Shoota Shellz from Chicago was shot and killed in Chicago a week ago supposedly by gangster enemies after he made a diss track and an Instagram video calling some people out. Shellz started becoming quite popular after making a few diss tracks about G Herbo and his ?150? crew. Recently, he posted a video where he said ?F*ck 150,? and told viewers that he had ?that thang? on him. Shellz continued in the video to reveal that he has decided it was time for him to ?leave the antics alone and just focus on his music.? Sadly, he was killed before he could follow through with his decision. Three shooters took turns shooting him in the head several times, hitting him with a possible 15-18 shots. Photos of Shellz?s dead body began circulating online on Thursday, July 13, and his enemies have began making memes of the dead man. How low can one go?

Graphic Photos: NSCDC Official Shoots Police Sergeant, Kills Man During Clash Between FRSC Officer And NURTW Members in Jigawa State

An operative of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, killed a man and shot a police sergeant in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital on Friday, July 14. According to Daily Nigerian, the incident occurred when Jigawa Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, sought reinforcement from the NSCDC personnel after clash with members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW. NURTW touts descended on the FRSC officials, set ablaze their operational van, following impounding of some of their vehicles for failure to install speed limiters. ?As soon as the Civil Defence officers arrived at the scene, they began beating everybody around. One of them started shooting despite the fact that the police asked him not to. He shot dead one the bystanders and a police sergeant,? said a witness.
